We encourage you to come observe the class in order to get a feeling for the program. Please call for an appointment or for more information at 556-2360. (Observation Procedure).

A formal application can be made by returning the application form along with a non-refundable application fee of $25.00 payable to Montessori Children's House. By mid-February, after the re-enrollment of on-going students is complete, you will be contacted as to your child's placement.

Admission policy

Upon receipt of your application and application fee and after the re-enrollment of current students is completed, you will be notified as to whether your child is accepted into the class or assigned a place on the waiting list. If your child is accepted, a deposit of one's month's tuition reserves the child's place in the class. This deposit (due on August 1 st ) will be credited to your child's last month's tuition.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year will be $290.00 a month. Payments are due on the first school day of each month, September through May, unless other arrangements have been made.

A supply fee of $100.00 is due at the beginning of the school year.

In the event that you should, for any reason, withdraw your child from the school, you must submit written notice 30 days in advance, at which time your tuition deposit will be applied to your child's last month at school.

School Calendar

The school calendar will approximately follow that of the Wake County calendar. Class begins the Tuesday before Labor Day weekend.
